Who was a better rugby league player Brad Fittler or Anthony Mundine?

Ok a guy from work and i have had this disagreement as to who was a better player..

Which player was more consistent in their showings, had more skill and would be the player you would rather to be playing in your team...

Brad Fittler was a far better player than Mundine.  

Mundine's game was very one dimensional.  If he had the ball in his hands and some room to move, he could create attacking opportunities.  As a defender, he was woeful.  Opposing teams used to run their forwards at him all the time knowing there is a good chance he will fall off the player.  Mark Coyne & Paul McGregor had to cover for him all the time.

Fittler had a better overall game.  Attack, defence, kicking, passing, reading the play and leading a team.

Mundine complained of racism when he missed out on the Australian team.  And the chairman of selectors at the time was Arthur Beetson.  So where's the racism in that statement?

Overall, Brad Fittler was by far the better player.  His resume shows it, Mundine's doesn't.

freddie was the best player in the world for a long time.. ppl talked about johns and lockyer or daley   but fittler was not only the better leader, he also had more skill than than them all.  he possessed a deadly accurate passing and kicking game and his on field vision was sensational. unlike wally the tugger  fittler also had the ability to hit the defensive line and bust a team wide open with his strong running.. and who could forget that sidestep!!!! there will never be another like him..

as for anthony mundane     well he was and still is his own biggest fan.. rightly never got selected for australia..... if australian rugby league is so racist someone please explain the likes of daley and beetson playing for their country? oh and isnt beetson an immortal??? an aboriginal immortal... yep clearly the nrl are racists..

Freddie Fitler all the way. Filter is one of the best players of our time today. He has more consistency and a lot more skill. That's why he's considered a legend of the modern game.

He got robbed of an australian jersy, there was no doubt he should of got picked 4 aust. Maby the selectors where racised. Thats y he left league
