  1. Originaly from Ohio, moved to Phoenix area in seventh grade. I play almost every back position for a U-19 club.

  2. I started playing club rugby in 7th grade in Des Moines, IA. I played through out high school for the same club. I played college football, but still went to the occasional practice in college. After I graduated, I went back to rugby, and now play in the Twin Cities for a club team. My positions have been scrum half, fly half, flanker, outside center and currently inside center, and I prop for 7's.

there are alot of teams in DE for highschoolers

my team plays (middletown high) this year and we played last year and won the division, hopefully rugby will spread through the U.S. more as time goes on

  4. Mike Hercus (born June 6, 1979 in Falls Church, Virginia) is an American rugby union footballer who plays at fly-half for the USA Eagles and Belmont Shore.

Hercus was born in Virginia but his parents returned to their native Australia where he was brought up and educated at Shore School North Sydney. He played for the Australian schoolboys rugby union team and later progressed to the Australian under 21 side before the American national team, the USA Eagles, gave him a route into international rugby union.

Hercus made his Rugby World Cup debut in 2003, scoring 51 points for the Eagles. He played at Sale Sharks for two seasons as Charlie Hodgson's understudy before moving to Llanelli Scarlets. There Hercus was able to secure a starting position at fly-half during the season, a position which he maintained in the 2006 Powergen Cup final (which saw the Scarlets lose to London Wasps 26-10). Hercus moved to the Newport Gwent Dragons in the summer of 2006 when it was announced that Welsh international fly-half Stephen Jones was to move to the Scarlets. He captained The Eagles for the 2007 Rugby World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay.

He returned to the USA for the start of the 2007 Rugby Super League season where he plays for Belmont Shore and is in the US Falcons NA4 squad.

  5. I've lived in Pennsylvania my whole life. I'm not aware of any high school teams, and didn't actually start playing till college, but now I'm pretty hardcore about it, as is the rest of the team (we have a championship title to defend!). Uh-huh! haha
