  1. The Hen because the Hen has to lay the egg to get the egg.


  2. Well from the evolutionist point of view, the egg. Something similar to a chicken had an egg and it mutated and was a hen.

    From the christian point of view...the hen came first. God put the animals on the earth as they are.  

  3. The egg, based off basic evolutionary theory. Some chicken-esque species laid and egg and it was fertalized by another chicken-esque species  (but slightly different) and now we have the modern chicken
