    Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and a tebitan by the name of Tenzing Norgay  were the first two to the top.  No one spoke of which one actually was first up the mountain for many years, but then the honor was given to Hillary.

  3. I donot know the first climber.But,the people who first reached the peak were Sir Edmund hillary from Newzeland andT^enzing sherpa from Nepal.Both of them didnot tell anyone who stepped at the peak first .
