  1. Foreigner when come to climb Mount Everest, they will have to take a climbing guide and sherpa for their climbing. The Sherpas will trace out and make the way upto the Top.

So, therefore,  Tenzing Norgay Sherpa was the first to set foot on Mount Everest. However, both are the first climber of Mt. Everest.

    Regards,

    Tenzing

  2. Tenzing Norgay (Nepal) all the way baby!

  3. Tenzin Norgay (Tibetan Sherpa)

  4. Actually nobody knows the answer to this since both kept this a secret.  They both wanted to share in the experience.

  5. one out of two was the first one who put his foot on mt. everst.most likely he was Tenzing Norgay.

  6. I have read the books and watched their documentary, and I did not find out who was the first Ten zing says he was the one but of course Hilary cant be quiet... and so on. But it is not important we were not there and when they got there. For me they both, together and that`s all.

Try to find and read Tenzing`s book

(although he can not read and write) It is so good and quite funny when he describe the white people, and western life etc.
