Question:

Who was most honorable?

watching and listening to the DNC, and currently the RNC I've noticed some different elements of character. Where the Democrats would state their disagreements with the Republicans, and say perhaps "John McCain is wrong", Republicans have resorted to poking fun, name-calling and demeaning language.

What does this say about the Republicans running for office, and their chances of gaining your approval?

With Governor Palin's comments such as the idea that the difference between a mayor and a community organizer being that a mayor is accountable, thus denigrating the work of Obama, do you really think that she is demonstrating any sort of moral superiority, or is she just another republican trying to stir up hatred of Democrats?

  1. Where do you get your news?? Democrats and the media have been ripping Palin since McCain nominated her. Palin told the truth about Obama's lame community organizing job experience. You gotta be kidding me!! Obama hasn't managed anything like a city or county for that matter. He didn't do diddly squat while congressman in Illinois, and he was only in Congress for 142 days before he started running for Pres. He didn't even vote on any of the laws or issues put before him. He was just "present". Maybe after he gets some REAL experience he can run again for President, but right now he's not NEARLY qualified for the job!

  2. And the attacks on a 17 year old girl figure how into your little world?

Who elected Obama "Community Organizer"? Who did he answer to? Who and what was he responsible for? If you don't realize the difference between a Mayor and a Community Organizer, it is little wonder you believe that a Freshman Senator with zero executive experience,. zero military experience, zero business experience, is qualified to be President. But I guess they didn't teach the concept of zero in your school.

  3. The Republicans, especially Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, and Sarah Palin, clearly had more fun.  Their pro-life, pro-marriage policies make them hands-down more honorable.

Sarah Palin is exactly right in comparing a "community organizer" with a mayor.   Barack Obama not only had no responsibility (other than to the Chicago machine of Mayor Richard Daley), but also his main work was a collaboration with the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers.

Kudos to you for watching the opposition, Deirdre.

    Cheers,

    Bruce

  4. Republicans are grasping at straws.  They don't know what else to do.  It's really over for them.  Watch.

  5. That one really bothered me.  And illustrated that she may be far out of touch with the other 49 states, and the issues that larger cities face.  How can you do nothing but commend someone who wants to strengthen communities.

  6. Listen to little what you hear,

Pay attention to what they do.

The best meter in gauging how good a politician is how they use their own personal money.  Because that tells you what is truly important to them and how they really will govern.

I think if you examine the personal spending habits and contributions of each candidate you will have a real shock.  If most people were to take that advice to heart and look at their finances, they would realize that the wrong candidates are running right now.

  7. your hearing what you want to hear. the democrats dissed on the republicans the same as the republicans did the dems.

  8. I watched neither, and have no desire to watch them in the future.  Too old, seen and heard too much in my life time.  been there & done that is more than just a saying, it has been my life. I was born in 1941 during the second world war, I can remember the rationing, I can recall the air raid sirens in the night.  I can recall the Korean War as well and my neighbors returning from it.  I served during Vietnam, while others hid.  I served my country I know what we need in Washington D.C., and that is why I see those shows for what they are, nothing but a bunch of flag waving rhetorical B.S.

You want a repeat then you vote republican, you want change you vote democrat.
