Did anyone expect that? She came out of nowhere and was way ahead of everyone else. She even beat the black people and there usually fast. Did you expect a black woman to win?

  1. White people only let black people do stuff better so that they feel good about themselves. We still have every right to win if we want, we do our best to spare blacks feelings but they should just realize they are inferior

  2. don't know but I got tired watching that race

  3. She's Romanian. and yes it was a shock, but I guess that's what we get for assuming.

  4. She was Romanian and her name was Constantina Tomescu-Dita. I'm glad she won & after she finished, she still ran!

  5. She is a very good runner who races like this, usually when someone goes out by themselves the lead the pack will let them b/c they realize they won't be able to substain that lead.  She not only keep it, but they never even gain on her with 7 of them working to try and catch her.  To me the more shocking thing was that she's 38, 2nd oldest in the field they said!  Ya, I figured the woman who finished 2nd Catherine N. (Kenya) would win it.

  6. She was Romanian (I forget her name too) and no, it was not a surprise because she had won several other things and her running style had always been to go out front boldly.  And since Kenyans are not known for marathons, I was not expecting one to win.  I was in fact very proud that they were in the forefront.

  7. Racist.

  8. She ran a great race.  The rest of the major contenders made

the fatal error of staying in a huge pack for over half of the

race.  She was the only one with enough guts to go for it,

and it paid off.  That's her style of running.  She was not going to let

others dictate how the race was going to be raced and won.

  9. Her name is Constantina Tomescu and she is Romanian. I don't expected that, but she has done it very well.

  10. ...huh..wat

  11. no
