  1. Unfortunately you'd probably have to give that distinction to Terrell Owens, he's a jerk but the stats don't lie. He's a very talented receiver no Jerry Rice, but he did learn from the best.

  2. John Taylor!

He would have been a number one on any team that did not have Jerry Rice on the roster.

T.O. drops to many balls when it matters most, Taylor never dropped balls whether it mattered or not.

  3. The first name I thought of was T.O.. But maybe John Taylor holds a fonder place in the hearts of 49ers fans.

  4. jerry rice NO DUH

  5. John Taylor hands down

  6. Good question.

I'm not a 49er fan per say.  But I'd give the nod to John Taylor.

You'd also have to consider Dwight Clark and Terrell Owens.

  7. John Taylor!!!  Dwight Clark third....

    T.O. under Whiner category

  8. If you are talking strictly WR, stats show that T.O. is the answer.

Rice is first with 1,281 receptions and 19,247 yards for the 49ers.

T.O. is second with 592 receptions and 8,572 yards.

But if you are looking at total yards from scrimmage, Roger Craig is #2 in that catagory behind Rice.

T.O. is 3rd in that catagory.

  9. john taylor

  10. i myself perfer John Taylor as the second greatest WR for 49er's some might say Dwight Clark because of the famous " The Catch" or T.Owens for his stats
