  1. Moses Malone.

  2. Vince Carter

  3. who was the all time best slam dunker in the NBA?

    Not MJ

    Michael Jordon

  4. DOC J!

  5. hard to argue with Vince Carter, but it's even harder to root for the crybaby. he's done unbelievable stuff in dunk contests. he also has some pretty sick in-game dunks, but not like the next two:

Shawn Kemp made people look silly and left them hanging their head- usually as he yelled in their face or pointed to them after bashing on them. electrifying for a big man. 6'10" dudes don't usually run the floor, catch athletic alley-oops, and make adjustments in the air like Kemp did.

but i would have to say the all-time best was Dominique. the first player i can think of to reverse on someone. he would jump with 3 other players off a missed shot, and before they could even touch it, he had already caught it, ****** back, and dunked on them all, teammates included. the most exciting player i've ever seen in the open court or off a miss. he wouldn't athletically maneuver around them in mid-air like Jordan, he just went over or through them. overlooked as a dunker, even though he was considered overrated during his career (in NBA players polls). he never had a supporting cast, Hawks were never nationally televised on NBC games (TBS showed them when they still focused on local Atlanta teams), and had a horrible shoe deal (Brooks in his prime) with no commercials or ads.

  6. Vince Carter!

  7. of all time: Doctor J. or Dominque Wilkins

    Right Now: Dwight Howard

Doctor J. and Dominque Wilkins do 2 totally different dunks so it's hard to decide. Julius Erving is a high flyer while Dominique Wilkins is a power dunker. So i had to choose them both for the best of all time.

  8. F*CK U /MJ WAS THE BEST !!!!!!!!!

  9. Vince Carter....anybody tells you anything different, they're lying

  10. Spud Webb or Doc J. Vince Carter and J-Rich can be discussed about, but probably mostly VC

  11. Jordan probably wasn't the best in-game dunker in NBA history, but he's pretty close.

Dominique combined awesome power with awesome leaping ability.

Dr.J was unbelievable in his ABA days, but he'd toned down a bit once he joined the NBA

Shawn Kemp was the most overrated dunker ever... just because you scream after you dunk, it doesn't mean the dunk was any more impressive.  He couldn't take off from a great distance from the basket the way Wilkins, Jordan or Carter could.  He basically had no hang time whatsoever.  Not like these other guys.

When Kemp was in the slam dunk contest, he didn't do anything spectacular, except scream.  And that allowed him to reach the finals.  But his performance was really a joke.  He tried taking off from the foul line, mistimed his run, and missed the foul line by 4 feet, lol.  He sucked.

Wilkins, Jordan and Carter would top the list, imo... on the next level are guys like Kobe and McGrady.
