  1. Former Tiger First baseman Randall Simon. I remember because when he was here in Detroit his interviews made him sound like he was a bit slow in the head.... or was it just him. lol Didn't he hit it in the head with a bat? Not hard , but still.


  2. It was Randall Simon and he actually did hit the sausage in the head with a bat when it came too close to the dugout.

  5. It was Randall Simon, and yes he did hit the Polish sausage in the head with the bat, knocking her off of her feet. (He actually autographed the bat and gave it to the young lady after the game.)

    Not long after, he was traded to the Cubs, and on his first trip to Milwaukee with them, he actually bought polish sausages for an entire section of the ballpark. (I think it was somewhere just over a hundred of them.)
