Who was the best king of France?

for France, so not necessarily Louis XIV. Perhaps Henri IV? I don't know.

  3. Louis Philippe, the "Bourgeois-King'' of France, had no liking for display, became known as the worst-dressed monarch of modern times. In the early years of his reign he was considered a scholar and mountain climber who was always badly in need of a haircut.

    Louis-Phillippe ruled in an unpretentious fashion, avoiding the pomp and lavish spending of his predecessors. Despite this outward appearance of simplicity, his support came from the wealthy middle classes. At first, he was much loved and called the "Citizen King" and the "bourgeois monarch."

  4. You can't ask questions like that because it's a matter of opinion. Instead, why not posting a question asking which king was liked and repected most? I don't know, but I'm sure you'll get some results if you google it : )
