definitely rafael nadal.  as i recall, federer lead nadal in the first set in rome final this year, and nadal came back and beat federer. also, in rome second set, federer was leading nadal and nadal came back and beat him in straight sets.  in rome final , nadal did not have injury time out at all.  so, this is predictable for me that he won.  the statistics between the two today are pretty close, but nadal have ten more chances to convert the breaks.  regardless, i think nadal is the best clay court player.  congratuations to both, and job well done for rafael nadal.  i will watch this match again.

As always, Rafa.

At times he gives me the feeling he's toying with federer on clay. The way fed goes up and then rafa catches him. He was also tired from yesterday's match else he might have won even more comfortably. He should have anyway's pulled it off in straight sets.

Rafa is the best. There are no rivalries like everyone is saying. Fed has only beaten Nadal once on clay out of 9 or 8 times. That is not a rival.

Nadal is simply the best without rival on clay.

Everyone says Fed is a rival. sorry. no.

Rafael Nadal is vastly suprior to any competitor when it comes to the clay courts. His record speaks for its self 26 career titles all on clay, 3 consecutive French open titles and loosing only twice on clay since 2004.

That was just wicked..totally unbelievable tennis.Twice Rafa had to come from behind and catch up..it was just incredible.

I can't wait to watch Roland Garros.Its gonna be interesting and i'm hoping Rafa and Federer battle it out again in the final.

This gotta be one of the best rivalries [forget tennis] in sports today.

Nadal is king of clay.  Roger played some amazing shots. The injury time out bull sheet was total bull droppings. Nadal later said he felt bad about it and the timing of it made a difference.  Federer felt sorry for him by practically handing the ball to him after that. He kept hitting it right to him like a freakin drill!  Roger has got to be more ruthless and attack Nadal non-stop. Roger's biggest weakness against Nadal is when he stops fighting.

Don't get your panties bunched up people, I'm not putting Nadal down or his game. I'm simply pointing out like the announcers have about Roger letting up on his aggressive style when he's against Nadal.

Definitely Rafa although Fed can now give Rafa a run for the money on this surface.

I can't believe Rafa won,though,because of the semifinal match he played against Djokovic the day before. I thought that would have burnt him out but Rafa is made of some special "clay" and he surprised me!
