Was that teacher also your favorite?

What do you think makes a good teacher?

What is the biggest difference between your favorite teacher and your least favorite?

How could teachers become more affective?

My best teachers were either in 6th grade or 8th grade. They were Ms. Massie and Mr. Collamore. I didn't show that i liked them a lot. But i think they knew, or atleast i hope they did...

  1. Mr Owen

    Funny guy

  2. Mrs. Dixon, 5th grade, French l**k, Indiana.  She was strict but loving and fair.  She had the kindest heart of any teacher I ever knew.  During the Great Depression, a little girl in her class only had one dress, and this wonderful teacher quietly bought her shoes and clothes for several years until the girl's father was finally able to find work again.

There have been too many least favorites, but I guess the common trait would be they just didn't care very much about their students.  What a contrast between them and Mrs. Dixon!  Because of her caring attitude, kids would do anything in the world for her, but why would they jump through hoops for someone who didn't care about them?

  3. Mrs/ BeLue 1st grade

  4. ms. murphy-7th grade she was the best u could talk to her about anything i still visit her sometimes everytime i visit her shes so happy i love her and mr.stevens-9th grade he was so nice and sweet... i just graduated on wendsday and he was so happy cuz we did it but he was sad cuz he was gonna miss us and he told us it was gonna go by fast and it did he was an amazing teacher he would always give us candy lol mr.gibb-11th grade he was so funny and a cool *** teacher

  5. High school. Mr. Phil Smith. Myths & Legends, Civics and American History. Had him for several classes in junior and senior years. Ex biker, greaser, brawler (had the scars to prove it too) who went straight. Man could tell stories, better yet knew how to make a lasting impression; knew how put people into their place, made them laugh too. Sure made me think.

Used to call the city of  City of La Verne Ca, (where he grew up) the armpit of the world. I agree.

  6. My best teacher...Mr. WJ Williams....Biology

but he is tied for History....Mr. Abney

They both were knowledgeable teachers and also took time to talk to us and listen too.  They cared and it showed.

My least favorite was a teacher that was cold and mean.

    That was the difference.
