  1. penguins

  2. Dallas

  3. LETS GO PENS!!!

  4. I think that would be Dallas.....

  5. Pittsburgh.

They were a great team, it's just Detroit had everything.

  6. The Dallas Stars.  They held themselves together the best against Detroit and eliminated the other 2 "best teams in the league" (San Jose and Anahiem) while Pittsburgh competed in the weak, boring Eastern Conference and won a game against Detroit in sudden death as opposed to 2 Stars regulation victories.  I think Dallas could have beaten Pittsburgh too.

  7. Pittsburgh or Dallas.

Pittsburg has the talent, the heart, but no the experience to win it.  They will soon if they stay together.  There isn't a team out there that will be able to beat them if they are they bring the same unit to the ice and they stay healthy. . . .

Dallas had the heart.  Dallas had the experience. Watching Modano administering his own smelling salts. That's hardcore.  Turco was hard to get past for a whole lot of teams. . Dallas stream-rolled their way in to he playoffs. . .

Funny part was how much I watched Billy-Ray (Barry) Melrose talked smack about the Wings.  They never trailed in a series and you turn on Sports Center and there's Melrose "Colorado in six."

  8. Pittsburgh

  9. pittsburgh pens.

    : D

  10. Pens

  11. Nashville...

the games that we lost against the pens and stars were very close, and arguably 'flukey' ...

the nashville wins were DOMINATED by the predators...

  12. Dallas played us tougher! I thought that Nashville played us as tough as PITT did.... Yet PITT is a better team than NASH......but Dallas was way closer a series than PITT ever was.

Pitt was the BETTER of all the teams we played, but Dallas played us much tougher!

  13. Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, da teem tat mke it to da Finals?????

  14. Pittsburgh no doubt. I would like to see a rematch next year between those two clubs. Hopefully the Pens can keep their core together. They have Crosby. But Malkin Malone Staal Fleury. I think the NHL is making a mistake with the CAP. Right now in order for NHL to succeed they need their version of the Lakers Celtics. I think the Red Wing and Pens could be that if NHL allows the Penguins to keep all their core players.

  15. It's a toss up between Dallas and Pittsburgh but...considering the fact that the Western Conference is a tougher conference, I will have to pick Dallas.

  16. Very close between Dallas and the Pens. Once Turco got some confidence he could actually beat the Wings they sure made a tight series of it. Considering the injury problems they faced on the blueline they showed very well against the Wings. Once the Pens got over the euphoria of playing for the Cup and settling in games 3 through 6 were all great hockey games and as exciting as hockey has been in a long time. I think it was obvious the Wings were the superior team throughout the playoffs but the Stars and Pens played like champions themselves. I for one am glad to see that kind of hockey (even though I am a huge Wings fan....old enough to remember some exciting hockey at the Olympia barn). It is great for the game to have such talent and hard fought playoff hockey....the game needed it and the fans of all hockey should be grateful, with the young stars and awesome Stanley Cup finals the game is in as good of shape as it has been in quite some time.

  17. On paper it was Pittsburgh, but the team that I think played the Wings the best was Dallas, even though they were in that vaunted 3-0 hole, the games were really closer than the series suggested. I also think Dallas could have beat Pittsburgh in the Finals...Along with the likes of San Jose and Anaheim.

  18. Penguins or Dallas.

  19. The Western Conference has the most current Stanley Cup winning teams therefore I would have to go with Dallas.
