Both were incredibly gifted footballers but I think I would rather have had Zola in my team rather than Cantona. He was more of a team player and not so much of a showman.

at their peak they were both amazing, skill full, exciting and consistent players in which chelsea and man united loved respectivly.

but my opinion is that eric cantona was not only the better all round player but also played at a higher level of football for longer

he had a following of fans at man united in which even today is greater than the best players now

eric cantona also single handedly won games on more than one occasion and at points of his career was almost unstopable
