  1. Gosh, Billy Brownless beefed up towards the end of his career - thats the first person that came to mind..


  2. Mick Nolan,  who just passed away this week from cancer,  he was registered as 120 kg, but all the trainers at the club say it was more like 135 kgs i heard on the radio the other day.

  6. 2 former players spring to mind. North Melbournes' "Galloping gasometer" Mick Nolan and former Hawthorn ruckman from the Sixties "Delicate" Des Dickson. Both players were in excess of 18 stone 120 kgs and not a an ounce of muscle. Despite ridicule from the media, both were good enough to be outstanding players for their clubs at that time.
