  1. In 1881, Andrew Watson who was born in British Guiana, won the first of his three caps for Scotland. Watson who came to Scotland to study at Glasgow University and played for the leading team of the time Queen’s Park. Not only was he the first black international footballer, he was also the first black football administrator.
