  1. I think we're still waiting on the first one... lol

  2. The answer is simple. The first human to exist was the first to evolve. Given our present state of knowledge the oldest human being remains were found in Africa, giving the presumption that the first human to evolve was African.

  3. Individuals do not evolve - populations of the same species evolve over time, that is, they genetically diverge from other, similar populations.

  4. What? Like what was his name? Ugh or Mung. Something like that.

  5. I believe his name was Bruce. He moved into a better cave that didn't have a big guy who took all the young girls for himself.

    It was called moving up.

  6. We have been evolving since we were single celled organism.  We continue to evolve.  Some people use the defintion of human as a hominid.  The definition of hominid has changed over time but it is often referring to those animals on the human line since the human/chimp common ancestor.  Others think human means Homo sapien.  Others suggest that human means anything in our genus.  Therefore, you cannot answer the question unless you define human.

  7. I think someday anthropologists will look back at us (homo sapiens) and call us the link between humans (civilized beings) and apes.  We're still mostly animal by nature, but we're starting to develop into civilized beings.  Unfortunately it's still only a minority.  I would say there is no answer to your question, since we still haven't full evolved.

  8. We are still evolving and have been since we first departed from our common ancestor with apes.

  9. Don was the only one to answer correctly. Populations evolve; humans are selected.

  10. evolve to what?don't tell me humans are from sort of monkeys!

  11. I agree with Ronald. The first human was the first to evolve. because as organisms we constantly change from one generation to the other. one generation has aquired more skills than the previous. life is always changing and adapting to living in different situations.

However contrary to Ronald the oldest human remains were found in Ethiopia present day Iraq which is in asia.
