It was the loser who blew it in the end for France. He lost a full body length in 50 meters. Classic case of the French running their mouths about America, but doing nothing in the end.

probably bousquet or alain bernard.  both of them can school the americans and yeah, tonight (or tomorrow morning w/e) will be phelps's only nongold.  I don't see them beating france after bousquet's 46 split in prelims.  I haven't seen the results yet so dont' say what happened, I'm waiting until it comes on "live" (stupid east coast bias) on the west coast
