Hugo Porta is arguably the best fly-half of all time.

Hugo Porta (born 11 September 1951 in Buenos Aires) is a former Argentine rugby union footballer who played fly-half. He played 57 times for Los Pumas, captaining them on 34 occasions, including leading them during their first World Cup in 1987.

Porta made his international debut in 1971, and would score 529 points, consisting of 10 tries, 88 penalties, 78 conversions and 25 drop goals. His best performances came in the late 1970s and early 1980s, with 1977 draw with France, and the Pumas' 1979 24-13 win against Australia.

Dan Carter, Andrew Mehrtens and the legendary Naas Botha also rates very highly in many people's books.

funny enough that no one answered DANIEL CARTER before my answer.... my money is deffinitly on him....allthough Naas Botha is still one of my favourites.....BUT LADIES AND GENTLEMAN THE AWARD GOES TO THE ALL BLACK : DANIEL CARTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
