you may be talking about kerri strugg in atlanta in '96, but she didn't get a perfect 10. what she did was scored just high enough on the final routine of the team competition to help the US win gold. it was on the vault. he could barley stand on her leg, but she needed a certain score to wrap up a team gold for the US. she was a member of the 'magnificant 7' of '96
