  1. I'm thinking maybe Jason Dunstall from Hawthorn but i'm only guessing.

This is only a guess but Plugger started in 1984 and Jason Dunstall in 1985 and was'nt a regular until 1986 and Plugger was the most prolific goalkicker in AFL/VFL history  i would say Tony Lockett would be favourite to be highest goalkicker in the 1980's. The greatest however would be Gary Ablett who kicked almost as many goals from less games and most of them from the wing.

  3. The above answers are spot on, however in the early 80s, Tony Roach from Richmond was a prolific goal kicker, followed by Brian Taylor. I think you'll find that both of them reached the 100 goal mark in a season at least once - Roach on more than one occasion.
