  1. Henri IV (1589-1610), Louis XIII (1610-1643), and Louis XIV (1643-1715)  Those are the kings at least!

  2. Henri IV, until about 1615 or so, then Louis XIII, and Louis XIV, who ruled through the middle of the 18th century, about 1754, I think.

  3. Henry IV (13 December 1553 – 14 May 1610), ruled as King of France from 1589 to 1610. He was the first monarch of the Bourbon branch of the Capetian dynasty in France. His parents were Antoine de Bourbon, duc de Vendôme and his wife, Jeanne d'Albret, queen regnant of Navarre.

Louis XIII (September 27, 1601 – May 14, 1643) ruled as King of France and Navarre from 1610 to 1643. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_XIII_...

Louis XIV (September 5, 1638 – September 1, 1715) ruled as King of France and of Navarre from May 1643 to 1715.

  4. There were three kings of France in the 1600s:

Henry IV from  August 2, 1589 to May 14, 1610 (his queen consort was Margaret of France)

Louis XIII from May 14, 1610 to May 14, 1643 (his queen consort was Anne of Austria)

Louis XIV from May 14, 1643 to September 1, 1715 (his queen consort was Maria Theresa of Spain)

France never had a ruling queen as the succession was governed by salic law (meaning men only inherited in the male line). France was ruled continuously by the House of Capet and its junior branches from 987 to 1792, and then also 1814 and 1815 to 1848.

There were, however, female claimants to the French throne in the name of the queens regnant (queens in their own right) of England ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_cla... ) .

Claimant English queens regnant of France in the 1600s were:

    Elizabeth I (November 17, 1558 - March 24, 1603)

    Mary II (February 13, 1689 - December 28, 1694)

These queens, however, never ruled France-proper.
