  2. Kerry Fraser.  He's not a ref.  At Wings games, he can often be seen wearing the opposition's away jersey.  He is their biggest difference maker.

  3. yup it was craig mctavish, retired in 1997, , He had been the last helmetless player, having begun his career before helmets became mandatory (then-current players were allowed to remain bare-headed under a grandfather clause).

  4. I do believe it was Craig McTavish, followed by Rod Langway...two greats on the blue line!

  5. Craig MacTavish was the last player to play without a helmet.  He retired after the 1996-97 season.
