  1. I don't think there has ever been an undefeated and undisputed champion if so it would have probably been Marciano. The only reason i would say that is because their wasn't so many different belts WBC WBA IBF WBO it was just one champion. I wouldn't say Clazaghe because he isn't the undisputed supermiddle weight champion he is the recognized champion but the undisputed means he owns every belt and their are other title holders at 168. I going to say Marciano or even Jermain Taylor right after he beat Hopkins but he eventually lost. Also as champion Taylor had to vacate one or two of his belt because he didn't fight mandatory.(But he did fight the respectable guys that the public wanted to see so hats off to Taylor not so skilled but fought the real contenders )

  2. Joe Calzaghe is not undisputed by any means outside of the UK. And Bernard Hopkins was not undefeated before he lost to Jermain Taylor, his first loss came in his first professional fight in 1988 against Clinton Mitchell, then his second loss came against Roy Jones Jr in 1993 both were by decision.

Rocky Marciano is the only undefeated, undisputed champ in history to retire that way. Mayweather could be number 2 if everything keeps going the way they have been. Hate him all you want he is fantastic boxer.

  3. wow, i seriously cant believe everyone has forgotten about Ricardo Lopez. he was undefeated at 51-0-1 he held every major belt just not all at the same time, he held the WBC,WBA,WBO, IBF at one point in his career. He fought at the Bantamweight division and last fought in 2001, he's a fighter out of Mexico.

  4. My first guess would be supermiddle weight champion, Joe Calzaghe and he's still reigning.

  5. I'll have to agree with big normen here. I would give it to marciano but only on a technicality as there only was one belt for champ back then and calzaghe has to fight for four (at least). So marciano gets my vote

  6. The last (and current) champion would be Joe calzaghe the undisputed super middle weight champion (the ring,wbo,wbc...)

  7. Hmm good question, how to define it though?

Joe Calzaghe could claim undefeated, undisputed at Super Middleweight right now, as he has the Ring, WBA,WBC and WBO titles.

  8. there are two people floyd mayweather and joe calzaghe. both are undisputed lineal champs. meaning that they do not need any sanctioning body to be the champion if either one gave up their belts they are still the top dogs

  9. bernard hopkins held the wba, wbc, wbo & ibf middleweight belts and was undefeated before losing to jermain taylor.

unless you meant the last undefeated, undisputed champ to retire, in which case rocky marciano.

oops......i forgot about hopkins  earlier losses..........my bad!

never thought of lopez either.....thumbs up to g.o.a.t.
