Who was the more power in the relationship - you decide

"The person who cares the least, controls the relationship"

Its a famous quote on relationships. Basically if i ask a woman out, does this mean i am giving all the power to her and i no longer control things. I think we both like each other 50-50 but if i ask her out, does this mean long term she is on the advantage over me.

Not really looking to control her, just want the stability of knowing she wont leave me.

No, I am with you, it is usually about 50-50.  There are times when this shifts around.  However, if one of you is  totally ga-ga, and the other is only so-so, then the OTT person is going to be the one at the mercy of the other.  Any relationship that is not based on respect and balance is not a true marriage, it is just a dictatorship.

It matters, if the guy likes the girl more than the girl has the power.

If the girl likes the guy more than the guy has the power.
