Who was the most disapointing F1 driver ever?

Not nessesairly the worst but the one that you thought, hes going to do well this year, then spends the year running around at the back.

I think for me it'll be Heikki. I don't expect him to be beating Hamilton all the time this year but I at least expected him to be close. So I was a bit disappointed that he wasn't making Hamilton sweat. BUt Heikki's doing better now and maybe soon he'll be more of a threat to Hamilton.

Apart from him , Scott Speed. WIth a name that promises so much, he failed to live up to it. Maybe if he had been more successful, there'd still be a US GP because people are taking an interest. Somehow, the glitz and glamour of F1 must've gotten to him

Martin Brundle. He could have been world champion, but he let the race driver lifestyle turn his head...

Mika Salo. He was usually quicker than Hakkinen in Formula Vauxhall Lotus back in the 80s (I have a poster from Autosport magazine from about 1988 with all the drivers and cars from that series - the two Mika's were the class of the field). What went wrong?

Ivan Capelli. The pressure of being an Italian driver at Ferrari did for him. He looked like a potential champion at March, then it all went to pieces.

I expected Heikki to be competitive on day one, but he had a terrible start to his career. Although he started to step it up in the second half of last year, he still hasn't lived up to my expectations.
