  1. I don't know his Name or Age, but it was back when ATHENS held the Olympics a long Time ago in the 20 Century.

His name was something like Spiridon Adopolis (or something) LOL

He was extremely Old for an Olympian - I "think" it was the Marathon,

If not, it was the 10K or 5K, but I think it was the Marathon.

NOTE - I could easily look this up on the Net - but it is more Fun, sometimes, to depend on Informational Memory, alone LOL

    EDIT --

I'm starting to think that it may be one of these people --

    Paavo Nurmi - Finland - 10K

    Edwin Moses - 400M Hurdles

2 Americans - One threw the Discus and the other did the Hammer Throw - but I can't think of their Names !!

Either way - I still do not know how OLD these people were.

I can't believe no one has gone to a Statistic Site - I'm sure this Information is Available - Where are the other Answerers ??

You may want to ask it again -- Maybe not enuff people saw your Question ??
