Who was the physicist who discovered Schrödinger's equation before Schrödinger?

but never received credit? This equation was in the form of an integral equation as opposed to differential, but was equivalent to Schrödinger's. Why, I do not know, but Wolfgang Pauli was opposed to it for misguided reasons, which was purportedly the reason why the original author of the equation never gained acceptance.
