Who was your favourite Playschool presenter?

Question

I can't remember the name of my favourite presenter.. but he was black. Whenever I hear his voice still, it regresses me back to my childhood.

I loved Floella Benjamin as did everybody so it seems. If all this talk of Playschool has left you with a need to find out more, I'd suggest having a look at these! Great stuff!

Derek, since leaving Playschool, has been the voice of Superted and Tractor Tom, had parts in Holby and Porkpie on TV and more recently has been on stage in Beauty and The Beast and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in the West End.
