Who was your preseason pick for NL MVP and who is your pick right now?

My preseason pick was derrek lee (and i still think he can win it but hes really gonna have to destroy the ball the rest of the season). But my pick right now would have to be ryan braun.

Mine was Prince Fielder but he had a Slow Start, That what Happen when you become a Vegan, Right Now I agree Ryan Braun Has and Will continue to hold the Brewers together and get them in the Playoffs, he will earn that Title.

I picked Ryan Braun before and I'm still picking him now.  I've got him on my fantasy baseball team as well.  I'm going to stand by him cuz he's getting me all kinds of point this year!!

My pre-season pick was Albert Pujols, and now..... well its still Albert Pujols

If we're talking "valuable," take a look at that Cardinals lineup sometime and then explain why those opposing pitchers ever throw a pitch over the plate to Albert Pujols. Well, now that I mention it, they don't. Or they're throwing as few strikes as possible, anyway.

Last year, more than half the pitches thrown Pujols' way were in the strike zone. This year, that figure is down to about 40 percent. And he's still on pace to hit .353, with 32 homers and a .610 slugging percentage (not to mention 45 intentional walks). That may look like just another standard old year in the life of Sir Albert. But it's not -- because of what he means to an offense that surrounds him largely with reclamation projects and overachievers.

Think it's any accident the Cardinals are 7-10 in games he doesn't start, but 45-32 when he does? Think it's a coincidence that when he was on the disabled list last month, Ryan Ludwick hit .188 and the Cardinals scored two runs or fewer five times in 13 games? There are great cases to be made for Chase Utley, Hanley Ramirez and Chipper Jones. But nobody has done more, with less around him, than Pujols.

My pre-season pick was Chase Utley, and until about a month ago, I was probably right. Now though, I would have to say if the Phillies win their division I could see Ryan Howard getting it. Or if the Cardinals make the playoffs, Albert Pujols or Ryan Ludwick. If its the Cubs I'd have to go with Alfonso Soriano, with Theriot being a long shot.
