Wow I really don't know. Unfortunately I've been busy with school so I haven''t really been able to sit down and watch. I think I'll go with Marlon Byrd though. :]

But seriously, I'm not sure.

This has been a tough month for us for sure.  Lose Murphy and Kinsler within a few weeks of each other, trade Eddie Guardado for yet another young pitcher... Josh Hamilton with an abscess tooth and not playing... Losing 14 out of 17 games for a stretch...

At this point I can't wait for September.  I honestly don't see how August could have gone worse.

I don't know that there is one MVP... None of our players have been doing spectacular lately.  I'm pleasantly surprised by Elvis Andrus (brought up for Kinsler) and I'm pleased that Brandon Boggs and Marlon Byrd are using their extra playing time well.  I think Salty has improved from the beginning of the season, and that's pretty much the bright side of August.

So there you have it.  My semi-MVPs for the month of August are Marlon Byrd, Andrus, and Boggs.  =)
