i keep having crank issues.. im determined to take my bike back for a refund.

What bikes are you guys riding at this weight with no problems?

  1. try getting a downhill/freeride crank. Those are built strong and to last, so i think they should be able to hold up to your weight(no offense, dont take that the wrong way). I use a TruVativ hussefelt crank and it is awesome.(an not too expensive anymore)


  2. You don't say what brand of bike you ride, or the issues you're having. If it's a quality ride, upgrade the parts. If it's a Huffy, go away.

  3. Hi, i weight around 230 pound. i don't ride a MTB, but i do ride a BMX, i have crank squeeking problem wich i put oil/WD-40 on it... then i tighten the bolt's and stuff ...

    i am not sure what your problem is with your crank, but you should be fine with your weight and the bike.

    it would help if you posted the kind of bike you have, and what is exacly your crank trouble's. then i could help you aloth more and so on.
