  1. Just because Michael never lost a Finals he played in, in the 90's doesn' mean he didn't play good teams, & he didn't play against good players. As far as hall of famers go. And those that i think that will get into the hall of fame. David Robinson, Hakeem Olojuwan, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, Gary Payton, Shaquille O'Neal, Regie Miller, Scottie Pippen. All of those guys are going to make the hall of fame, in my opinion. You shouldn't even mention people like Chris Paul. He would not make the hall of fame based on what he's done so far. And i wouldn't say the other guys you mentioned were any better than the guys i mentioned. Every team they played in the Finals was a good team. Other than maybe Kobe, i can't think of many of todays players that you could sub in for Michael & the Bulls win against the teams they played in the Finals.

  2. Let me answer.......NONE. There may have been good players, but the only good COMPETITION WAS THE UTAH JAZZ. MJ WOULD NEVER SURVIVE IN THIS TALENT FILLED ERA.

  3. the detroit pistons

  4. The 90s were a different era for Basketball, it was very Defense heavy, the game slowed down a bit so flashy players are hard to find; however, if you grew up watching it during that time you realize that there are tons of great players in the 90s.

1st HAKEEM OLAJUWON- one of the all time best Centers, leads NBA all time in Blocks And, he's 7th all time in points scored. That turnaround jumpshot he developed was unstoppable. That spin move he incorporated into his game, along the baseline, was unstoppable. When he was on defense, everyone else was stoppable.

2nd SHAQUILLE O'NEAL - We're talking about a 26+ points per game scorer, who shoots 57% from the field, grabs 11+ boards a game, blocks 2+ shots per game, and even leads the occasional fast break. The dominance he showed in the '90s was uncanny.

3rd KARL MALONE- He would kill you in the lane, from outside, from the free throw line, on the offensive boards, on the defensive end, and anywhere else on the court. and a 2X MVP

4th CHARLES BARKLEY- Dominated the boards and Low block, won MVP in 93

5th JOHN STOCKTON- 2Xs better than Nash all time leading Ast leader, just all around great PG. Much better than any PG in today's game. I can only imagine his stats if he played in today's game on a inflated offense like PHX

6th DAVID ROBINSON- controlled paint and scored at will won MVP 95 The Admiral.

7th TIM HARDAWAY - He is one of only 7 players to average 20+ points a game, along with 10+ assists.  And, he did it twice.  And, fell short by only a few assists of doing it two more times.

Then you have guys like Dominique Wilkins, P.Ewing, G.Hill who had similar #s to Lebron, Alonzo Morning, Reggie Miller, G.Payton, S.Kemp

Kobe has tons of Moves, is highly talented but does not have the heart like MJ. He does not have the intelligence like MJ, but he skipped out on college. MJ would have never gotten blown out 39pts in the Finals

MJ is/was the best easily, and lets not downplay the rules changes by Stern Outlawing hand checks and forearms in the lane that make it impossible to guard one/one. MJ would have slaughtered these weak 2000 players w/ little to no defensive skills, poor fundamentals who cant seem to win a Gold Metal. The 2000 players are highly talented w/ tons of highlights/moves but just do not have it fundamentally and are not all around as solid as the players from the 90s

  5. JOE DUMAR'S & THE BAD BOY'S go back to si cover's there was a si cover that has a standing joe dumar's with a squating mj & j.d has his hand on mj 's head.

Dumar's told si oh great you had to rile him up, next time they played mj lite up jd for over 50 pt's

  6. Stockton Jazz

    Ewing Knicks

    Olajuwon Rockets

  7. Stockton Jazz

    Ewing Knicks

    Olajuwon Rockets

Other then these 3 they were pretty weak, the rockets got some rings cause MJ retired. The Knicks were pretty weak with only 1 talented player. Jazz were the only team in the 90's who gave the Bulls a hard time, but even a 2 man team was pretty weak compared to today's teams!

  8. finally someone that agrees with me,mj is so overated he didnt have to play against a zone defense like now a days,

and his only competion was the jazz, but they werent all that great besides malone and stockton.mj had pippen kerr rodman paxton  i could on and on.he had no competion.

plus heres a stat for all u mj lovers

jordan never got past the 1st round of the playoffs without pippen.kobe got to the finals without shaq.

KOBE WILL SURPASS MJ AS G.O.A.T.

  9. MJ had Great competition!...like (pauses)

John Starks.........some guy named Ehlo.......oh wait!

the 2 best player's of the 90's was on the same team **Scottie Pippen and MJ***

  10. Kidding, right?

Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Clyde Drexler, David Robinson, Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O'Neal, John Stockton, Karl Malone, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing, James Worthy, Mark Price, Gary Payton. Except for Mark Price and Gary Payton, all HOFers.

Jordan couldn't win in the 80's because the Bulls were a terrible team. Orlando Woolridge was the 2nd leading scorer on his first season. Check the Bulls stats on 2nd and 3rd season. The Bulls started to win when they could put a decent team together. It has nothing to do with competition. Jordan even scored 63 points againts the feared Bird, MacHale and Parish Celtics.

And this coming from a Blazers fan.

  11. I think Karl Malone and John Stockton were up there with him. thats all i can remember off the top of my head haha. i don't know much about the competitors of the bulls dynasty

  12. probably Bird and Magic

  13. his ego.when coach jackson arrived,he made sure that for a team to win,it takes 5 people to unite not by just one.he did bench jordan to prove him that their team will go on w,out him and that changed jordan.

  14. i think micheal jorden didnt win in the 80s cause of the fact that he didnt have that great of a team until the 90s but he would still score alot even playing agaisnt the great teams at that time celtics lakers teams like that and not to mention yes bulls started winning in the 90s but i dont know if you know but mj and the bulls did beat lakers in the finals while magic johnson was playing so thats quite a accomplishment and i think MJ biggest compettion was by far the jazz i mean it wasnt even for the bulls to defeat those jazz with the great team that jazz had with stockton and malone  i mean come on but he got the job done and last but not least i think the suns and charles barkley was quite a good compettion those two players is like if they hated each other but MJ would always come on top hope this answer helps
