  1. Gabrielle Reece, Flo Hyman, Karch Kiraly and Steve Timmons to name a few

  2. If you are talking about postions, I'd say the setter is the most important. A dominant middle can really change the game though.

  3. US men's team in 1988 Seoul Olympics was the best of the best.  They had the best of every kind.

Karch Kiraly, simply the greatest player ever.

Steve Timmons, best jumper and hitter.  Incredible vertical jump. He revolutionized the back row hitting.

    Craig Buck, best middle blocker.

Eric Sato, best server and defense specialist at a time liberos haven't been introduced yet.

Of course, they won the gold medal.  It was the volleyball's dream team.

When Karch Kiraly was asked how he would put up a good team, he said that he would gather up talented players, at least 6'5" tall, or preferably 6'8", teach them to hit like Steve Timmons, block like Craig Buck, and serve like Eric Sato.

He didn't mention his name but obviously he was the best all around player.

These players set the new standards, revolutionized new techniques, and definitely changed the way we play volleyball today.  I just love'em all and miss the time when they were active.

  4. Karsh Kiraly, Misty May, Kerry walsh, Phil Daullhouser, MARV DUNPHY, Nana merriweather, Mike lambart, Ryan millar omg the list goes on and on...
