  1. It was King Henry VIII, and he had six wives.

First was Catherine of Aragon.  She eventually died, probably of cancer of the heart.  She's buried in Peterborough Abbey.

Second was Anne Boleyn.  She was beheaded by the sword on charges of witchcraft, treason and incest.  She's buried in St Peter ad Vincula, the church in the Tower of London.

Third was Jane Seymour.  She died just a few days after giving birth to Henry's longed-for son, Edward.  (Childbirth fever.)  She's buried in St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.  When Henry died, he was buried there with her.

Fourth wife was Anne of Cleves.  Henry didn't like her; the marriage was quickly annulled and Anne lived out her life quite happily in England.  She died of a "declining illness", and is buried in Westminster Abbey.

Fifth wife was Catherine Howard.  She was very young and not very bright, and she did have at least one affair with Thomas Culpepper.  Henry found out, was devastated, and had her executed by the axe in the Tower of London.  She is buried, like Anne Boleyn, in St Peter ad Vincula.

The last, and sixth, wife was Katherine Parr.  She was more of a nurse than a wife to Henry, and was kind to his children.  Eventually Henry died, and Katherine was able to marry her previous love, Thomas Howard.  She then became pregnant, and died in childbirth.  The child disappears from history; Thomas was later executed.  Katherine is buried in the church at her husband's seat, Sudeley Castle.
