That's a good list you have there, as far as players of the Open era (since 1968), but if we're going to speak in terms of all-time, I would remove Henin and the Williams sisters, and put Helen Wills Moody, Suzanne Lenglen, and Maureen Connolly in their places, or even higher.  Wills Moody won 19 grand slam singles titles, Lenglen won 12, and Maureen Connolly won 11, and in 1953 became the first woman in history to win the grand slam.  In 1954, right after winning her 3rd straight Wimbledon title, her career was abruptly cut short when her leg was crushed in an accident.
