  2. here is ring magazines top 80 fighters of the last 80 years,

you could possibly throw jimmy wilde, bob fitzsimmons, jack johnson & (or) james jeffries in there if you so wished.

  3. Although a good question there can never ever be a right answer, different era's produce different champions of different abilities, some great alleged fighters werent that great beacuse the opposition was poor in that era, I see people talk how great Azumah Nelson was but people forget a great great Salvator Sanchez who wupped him real good, Sanchez was only 19 or 20, undeafeated, Nelson was a great fighter at that time, Aaron Pryor is an example of the first prespective i proposed, He fought above average guys, Arguello moved up in weight and not a natural welter, so only today I gave my choice, but it might change tomorrow when I think I forgot another fighter, also I am of the opinion that there has never ever been a British fighter who was amazing, Joe Calazaghe may have an impressive record but name me 3 of his opponents quickly off your head

    Ray Robinson

    Muhammed Ali

    Marvin Hagler

    Roberto Duran

    Carlos Monzon

  7. 10-Mike Tyson-Dominating fighter who became two time champ and youngest heavyweight champ of all time.HE had speed and power

09-Jack Dempsey-A dominating fighter who new how to finish people off.he won 23 of his fights in the 1st round.he had ko power and animal instincts to finish anybody

08-Gene Tunney-The original Ali.He had fast hands and was a genius in the ring and would be the RING MAGAZINES first fighter of the year in 1928.he had Speed and smarts.

07-Julio Cesar Chavez-The greatest Mexican fighter of all time he once defended a title 27 times and remained undefeated for 93 fights. He had power and heart

06-Evander Holyfield-This natural cruiser weight and 5 time heavyweight champ prooved that in a time of big fighters like Lennox Lewis,Riddick Bowe,Razor Ruddick and Mike Tyson he could win it all and go down in history with more titles than any other heavyweight. He had more heart than almost all of them.

05-Marvin Hagler-What else can be said about one of the greatest middleweight champs of all time.he beat the best from Hearns to Duran and defended his title 12 times before being robbed by Sugar Ray Leonard. He had great power and skills

04-Sugar Ray Leonard- I admit that I hate him but as far as welterweights go there were none better. He won countless titles beating everyone from Hearns to Duran to even the unbeatable Hagler.he had lightning hands and decent power for his size.

03-Joe Louis-A man who defended his heavyweight title 20 times and prooved to everyone why he is one of the greatest punchers of all time.he had great hands and great power.

02-Sugar Ray Robinson-the original pound for pound king he could beat anyone and will go down as one of the greatest of all time.he had speed,power,skills......h**l he had it all.

01-Muhammed Ali-In FEBUARY 25, 1964 a young black man held his hands up and pronouced to the world that he must be the greatest.Now  44 years later we look at him and say........yep he was right. There was no one he couldn't beat from Frazier to Liston to Norton to foreman.he beat them all And most of the time would tell you when he would do it.There will always be fast heavyweights but there will only be one ALi.

Champions who were left out-Rocky Marciano,Lennox Lewis,Archie moore,George Foreman, and Joe Frazier. They were all great but not as great as the top 10.
