    3. Hitler (not for the good, but changed)

  8. 1.  Jesus Christ (whether you are Christian or some other religion, he changed religion forever).

    2.  Thomas Edison (took many "discoveries" - like electricity and invented several uses - like the light bulb).

    3.  Orville and Wilbur Wright (airplane - changed the face of transportation).

    4.  Alexander Fleming (discovered Penicillin).

    5.  Adolf Hitler (showed us how hate and pure evil can be a unifier for the misguided).

    6.  Osama Bin Laden (similar to Hitler, but introduced the planet to radical religion gone amuck in the use of non-conventional warfare, and how one evil mind can influence and manipulate the desperate).

    7.  Helen Keller (showed the world how to triumph over disability).

    8.  Elvis Presley or the Beatles (there had been popular music before, even crazes.  But these were the first to revolutionize the industry).

    9.  Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Civil Rights leader...  Some may argue that it should be Martin Luther King, Jr. but that would only apply to the U.S.  Gandhi is the one to introduce non-violent disobedience to the world in a way to protest social injustice).

    10.  Isaac Newton (described gravity and mathematical principles that led to modern science - even methods used for new discoveries centuries later such as Albert Einstein's theory of relativity).

This is not a complete list…  It’s just a sampling of a top 10.  Some will likely include people I would have like to have in my list, but I was going for a cross sample that included religion, science, entertainment, good and evil.  These, as well as other categories and genres, could each have a top 10 list of their own.  Hope you agree with some of my choices.

  11. top ten?? wow.  either way it's very disputable.  in my opinion however the main one would be Jesus Christ.  He really did chang the world. I'm sure i'd have to throw in other religious figures such as mohammed, buddha, joseph smith, etc.  Also ghandi was very influential.  I would have to say that hitler without a doubt changed history.  Ofcourse all the leaders in the american revolution would be up there.  G. Washington... all those guys. thomas jefferson ya know declaring the u.s. independent all that good stuff.  who else???  I'm not sure.
