Who were the unknown trainers from pokemons first episode who picked bulbasaur and charmander?

They never say who the other two trainers are. All we know is that Gary chose Squirtle and Ash ended up with Pikachu.

I don't think they have any names. All professor Oak had said was that those pokemon were chosen by trainers who weren't late. (since ash woke up late and was the last one there) we obviously know Gary chose one...but which was never told.

Errrrrr... i dont think any one knows.ok. i just checked. they never said when. ash was just a sorry, sad, LATE loser who winded up with a primarily bad behaving pikachu. sorry, ash. Yeah. maybe if ash was EARLIER we could have seen it.
