Who will Daniel Kerr go to next year - Carlton, Collingwood or Essendon?

It's reported in todays newspaper that he wants a 4-5 year further contract with the Eagles. The club don't want to give him that long a period & he may end up going to one of those three clubs. Which of those clubs would want him & who would he benefit the most?

no doubt carlton, the carlton players have said they would be willing to have pay cuts to have daniel, not to mention hed love to play with juddy again!

All of them would want him. Look at his record. Look at the player. He's a ball magnet. It would be based on his off-field record if any of those teams were to take him on in the case of a 'no-deal' at West Coast.

Though I don;t think that Carlton give a d**n about off-field c**p, and he would probably like to link up with Judd again.

And Collingwood and Essendon have both had their off-field issues and probably wouldn't take him off for that reason alone really.

He'll stay at WCE PROVIDED he keeps his nose clean, if he mucks up again they'll sell him to Carlton.

Essendon doesn't want someone with a long record of mess ups and Collingwood can't afford him in any sense, after the weekend.

Poetic justice would be WCE trading him for Didak!

I don't think the Eagles will let him go, with Judd and Cousins out they won't want too get rid off another of there top players

I think the Eagles will do something to cause both parties to agree on a contract.

If he does leave it would be a toss-up between Essendon & Carlton - he would not want to sully his reputation by going to a team like Collingwood. They are all drunks at that club.

that must mean that any team outside of West Coast would have to offer Kerr a 4-5 year contract to get him, wouldn't they? who the h**l would wanna keep a guy at ur club for that long, considering his not so good history.

He is a legend i dont mind him moving but i think he will stay in perth.

I would love for kerr to play for essenodn, but i think eagles need him more.....its kinda unfair they lost Judd, cousins and now kerr.

Carlton cant afford him and collinwood dont need a midfielder, essendon need someone like him and may be interested but to be honest i would rather the champ stay at the eagles!

daniel publicly stated on channel 7 news here in Perth that he has no interest in leaving. John Worsfold stated that to have Daniel Kerr play out his entire career with WC will be the ideal situation.

(He also told his Nanna he was staying - you don't tell fibs to your Nanna)

he'll go to carlton because he can play with his former teamate chris judd and be on their devasting best like the 06 and 07 season. but if he stays with the eagles then probly with cousins returning nxt season they can win a primiership without judd.

You could add Sydney to the list. They seem to have the best record with troubled players and some new blood couldn't hurt. the current list is'nt as young as it used to be
