    forums, training exercises.

    and as far as strong body, work shoulders, legs, abs. those are the most important mostly.


  2. I would say for jumping to just do a lot of wall jumps. There are special weights you can buy for your feet to practice jumping in as weel. General conditioning is good for young players. Empasis footwork at that level so it because a natural movement for upper levels. Remember that passing footwork is not the only kind. Work with them on hitting and setting (yes there is setting footwork) too! Passing and serving are the key first steps. They should be focused on the most of the major skills. Be encouraging and dont' apply to much pressure. I have played since I was 8 and I know a lot of girls who just got burnt out by age 15!!!

  3. She should practice jumping by increasing her lower body strength...a good way of doing this is to do plenty of squats and lunges...and she should work on her upper body strenght for spiking by weight lifting....and she should stay fit by doing some cardio too!!!
