Who will be Europe’s number one golfer?
The battle for the rank of European number one is on between the two golfing veterans Graeme McDowell and Kaymer Martin. Currently, both ace golfers are participating in the Dubai World Championship golfing event, which is being held at the Earth golf course
of Jumeirah Golf estates in Dubai.
Currently the thirty-one year old Irishman Graeme McDowell is anxiously waiting to face the German golf veteran Kaymer Martin for one-on-one tussle in the ongoing tournament of Dubai World Championship.
It is to be noticed that the twenty-five year old German and current world number two Martin Kaymer is currently leading the points table and McDowell is well eager to give him a strong challenge. It is also to be notified that both the players will play
together in the tournament in the final group of the tournament.
In a very recent interview the Northern Irishman McDowell expressed his aims and eagerness and told the media that it is going to be thrilling and exciting to play by the side of the German golfing ace. He added and said that the challenge is going to be
heart throbbing and he will try his level best to give a hard challenge to Kaymer.
Presently the young German, Martin Kaymer, is approximately two hundred and forty-six thousand pounds ahead of McDowell and his chances of grasping the Europe’s number one golfing rank are brighter than Graeme McDowell.
When the Irish Graeme McDowell was asked about the matter, the Ryder Cup star McDowell told the media that money matters a lot in the world of golf because it shows the credibility of a player and it also labels the career of a golfer.
The situation for grabbing the European number rank is not very encouraging for Graeme McDowell as it important for him to win the ongoing Dubai tournament to snatch the European top rank of golf.
It is also to be remembered that currently McDowell is enjoying a very good playing form and his recent performance in the Hong Kong Open golf tournament, where he finished fifth is a solid proof of his capacity and current good form.
While talking about the matter McDowell told the media that the gap between Martin and him was very huge and it seemed very difficult for him to shorten it. He continued and said that he has successfully shortened the gap of almost one million pounds to
two hundred and forty-six thousand pounds by playing tremendously well.
Graeme said that he is now eyeing to win the ongoing Dubai World Championship event. He added and said that he is feeling confident and well ready to take the challenge and the tournament is going to be very exciting with full of surprises.
Graeme McDowell is very well aware of his current staggering form and his recent performance in the Hong Kong Open golf tournament has given him a strong boost and momentum for the Dubai championship. When he was asked about the fact McDowell said that this
is the right time to show his best game and he is feeling very confident about his form.
Graeme continued and said that the current season of golf has been great for him and he is really looking forward to keep his winning streak alive.
On the other hand, Graeme McDowell’s arch rival Kaymer Martin has said that the Dubai world Championship golf event is probably the best and biggest tournament of his career and he is very excited to display his best game to outclass all of his rivals in
the tournament. Kaymer Martin added and said that winning the tournament will be a dream coming true to him and he is really looking forward for that.
