Who will be a bigger star in Tampa: Brett Farve or Vincent Lecavalier, if Brett goes there?

For a team that is rebuilding to be a Cup contender once again the Lightning could be over shadowed by the Bucs if Brett comes to Tampa and I think Brett could overshadow Vinny for ovbious reasons.

Or do you think it will be the other way around?

I think if brett favre goes there, he will be more popular. Football is way more popular than hockey anywhere. It's just what espn shows. If hockey were on more then I'm pretty sure more people would pay attention and actually know who Lecavalier is.

Brett Farve may be liked more because I don't know how popular hockey in Tampa Bay is but Vincent Lecavalier is definitely a better player for his sport by far and is a younger and more long term player, so I think Vincent Lecavalier would be a bigger star. Anyway isn't Green Bay not letting him leave the team, but not letting him start, so can't he not leave the team which would mean he couldn't come to Tampa Bay, I have no idea that is just what I thought.

If Brett Favre comes here, he will be friggin' worshipped. We like our football- maybe not as much as Pittsburgh or Seattle, but it's big time here.

Sorry to say it, but Brett would get the fame here. Even if he does come to T-town, (just made that up) it would only be for a year until he starts all this c**p all over again. So in a year, it'll be Vinny's time.

Drop the puck (so all the girls in the audience can scream when Vinny is announced in the starting line-up) already!

Tampa Bay is a loser city. They had the 1st pick in both the baseball and hockey draft. The Bucs suck too.

I'm not from Florida, but I am from California and nobody gives a c**p about hockey here. That stands true even with the Ducks winning the cup, and no NFL teams here in LA. I'm sure Favre will steal any thunder even the Tampa is winless and the Lightning wins the cup.
