Who will be the Baltimore Ravens starting QB for the season opener?

Two preseason games have been played and we seen what we got from both boller and Smith and flacco. Who do yall think will be the starter for week 1 and also, who will finish the season as the starter?

Troy Smith? Who have some of these other guys been watching? Seriously, Smith has been closer to DBs with as many of his throws as he has Raven targets. Talent is one thing but game management is a more important skill (the reason the Ravens could draft Smith so late in the first place....very inaccurate arm and the first 2 games only added to the doubt). Boller may not be a very good QB and doesnt have the physical skills of the other 2  but he does take fairly good care of the football, the only way you can win games at the NFL level. Boller will start and they will work very hard to get Flacco ready but unless they get off to a bad start you can expect Boller to "manage" the team the entire season with the hope Flacco developes and takes over next season. If Boller struggles and the team gets off to a bad start they would go to Smith just so they dont have to expose Flacco before he is ready. My money is on them being a very good defensive team and since they will only need good management of the offense Boller will start and finish the season as the #1 QB. Smith is just not accurate enough to risk putting the D on the field for longer than neccesary and they have a good offensive line and can pound the ball with Lewis. It isnt unprecidented to use a servicable QB and a solid D to get into the playoffs (Eli Manning managed more games than he won and they are the Super Bowl champs!)

Flacco wont be the starter, at least at the begining of the season. It's a first year coach, so my guess is they go with Smith. The two are neck and neck, with neither really impressing. Boller has been a starter for parts of several different seasons, so I would think they would give Smith a shot.

Smith... they won't throw Flacco into the fire yet... Smith hasn't done extremely well in the preseason but he will be the starter... flacco will be the starter in the future after Smith gets injured but Flacco will never be a fulltime starter...basically a back up

Kyle Boller... he has been the most impressive in tranining camp, very hard to believe but the last thing the team said in that regard was Boller was winning the race.

Kyle Boller is the most experienced of the group; but if the losses pile up Flacco or Smith will get the nod.

But I have a gut feeling the Ravens just might surprise some people this year. I think their defense is going to be very strong.

i heard boller is currently ahead and he's got experince . So Boller will probably start however i fell troy smith will take over the starting job. Kind of reminds me of the browns last year. I think boller is the next charlie frye and i think smith is the next derek anderson and i think flacco is the next brady quinn.
