Question:

Who will be the KC Closer in 2009?

It's been an amazing year for Soria, but because of his vast array of pitches (he throws 4 for strikes), there is talk about moving him into the rotation.

They have plenty of stiffs to drop to make room for him, but who do you feel has the skill sets to replace him. They won't sign a big name closer (I couldn't imagine anyway) because they simply don't win enough games, but anyone from the current staff or farm that stands out??

  1. they should stick with soria

  2. I believe that Soria will stay in that spot, but if he should move, new acquisition Kip Wells could move into the closing spot. No one really dazzles and shows they could be a reliable closer for the Royals though. Maybe except Leo Nunez. He could probably move into that spot. He is probably their best choice right now.

  3. Soria. DEFINETLY. The team is so vulnerable right now so let's not make any drastic changes and get a new closer. Keep him in the role, and worry about the rest of the team and getting that in order.
