I'll admit that living in Detroit, I'm more of a Red Wings fan, but I'm a hockey fan in general too (definitely not a bandwagoner or a puck bunny). I'm going with the Wings in 6 to win, although I would prefer they get it in 5 so they can win at home. I'll admit that the Pens are a younger and faster team, but you can't take out the experience factor that Detroit has over them. Zetterberg & Datsyuk are a pretty unstoppable force on the Wings and have worked well together all season. Add that to the fact that Franzen is supposed to be coming back from his injury, Lidstrom is amazing on defense (his 5 Norris Trophies are proof of that), and Osgood has been great in goal, stepping in for Hasek.

Probably the Red Wings.  They just have better stats.  But Pittsburgh is close enough to being as good as them so they better always give it 100%

Detroit will win because of a full team of experienced veterans who have been here and won the Stanley Cup b4 a few times and have a better all around team of snipers like zetterberg, slap shooters lidstrom and rafalski, screeners like holmstrom and hard hitters kronwall, drake and mccarty and great all around team that should have won 6 cups by now from 95-present, but when they get it goin and play up to 100% like they have this whole playoffs they r the hardest team to beat, I don't gurantee they'll beat Crosby and the Penguins cause they have alotta talent on there team with Malkin along side of Sid the Kid and Fleury is playin great, but I pick Red Wings to win in 7 to raise the cup at Joe Louis Arena

being a Flyers fan, i obviously have beef with pittsburgh...but with all that aside i honestly think that detroit is gonna win.

like ya, malkin, marc-andre and dare i say cindy crosbitch r doin good but they dont have the experience...detroit although not a young team has players with composure and experience who can handle the pressure of the finals

besides...how can pittsburgh win when crosby's gonna b on the ice half the time, he should have been a DIVER

I would have to say Detroit do to the fact that they have some good experience at the Finals and the young kids on there team are stepping up big.

It's hard to tell. They have not played each other this season so it is hard to tell how they match up agains each other.

Both teams are hot right now.

Personally I'm rooting for the wings and I hope that their experience will come through in the end.

its a tight decision, Detroit has the experience and a more indepth d-line, but in my opinon right now there is no team in the nhl right now that can calm the offensive talent that the penguins are pumping out.

Penguins 4 games to 2.....as good as the Red Wings are...Pittsburgh just has everything working right now. Fleury has finally showed up to be what some of us hoped and the offense is just so in sync. It's going to be one heck of a series. Enjoy it hockey fans.
