Who will be the West Coast Eagles caption in 2008 & Why?

I sure would think Dean Cox. Being in the ruck, he is all over the ground to talk to and lead his mates. Glass, being a fullback, how can you lead when you don't cover the other 2/3 of the ground. Plus if a full-forward makes you look like a fool, that isn't leadership. Just my opinion.

I think it will be Darren Glass he has a great future ahead but I would have liked to see David Wirrapanda have a go he deserves it and I think he would make a great captain as he has the respect of his team-mates.

probably ben cousins or dean cox cos they r both great leaders but cousins is on drugs and i don't like him!!!!!

Well... the three favourites seem to be Andrew Embley, Darren Glass and Dean Cox. Nothing against Coxy, but I just can't see him as Captain. That leaves it mainly out of Embers and Razzle... which is a tough one. Both Vice-Capts this year. Embley is bloody awesome and his enthusiasm is amazing (anyone else see his craziness and constant singing/dancing after we won the Grand Final last year??!!!?) buuut... I reckon Razzle (Glass) will get it. He just got All-Australian centre-full-back 2nd year running, he's a bloody awesome defenderm and I think (or at least it seems like) people around the club and such just have an awful lot of respect for him. I also think that he'd make the best Captain.

The again, Glen Jackovich was saying right at the beginning of this season that he reckons Hunter's on his way towards being Captain...

Who knows...

i would say it will be Embley he has been apart of the leadership group for ages if not embley then Glass for sure
