servers??

This is not a blame game. I'm sure you all know how most black people act in restaurants (if you have waited tables before) and I'm sure you all know that most servers (regardless of color) are "forced" to take the table, and give less than decent service. (mainly because they already know they will be run around the restaurant, taking orders that black customers invent off the menu, sending the food back that they don't like, and getting a manager to comp the food they didn't like. And at the end, receiving a $3 tip regardless if the bill is $3 or $300.

As a server, I have been burned so many times that it's not even funny. It actually costs me money to wait on black tables (if you know anything about server wages, taxes, and tip share)

I have been trying actively to give good service and to assume that some people know how to tip to show appreciation. Nothing. Maybe $3 dollars.

I feel it's time for black customers to be "conscience diners"

  1. I've noticed this B.S. quite a few times. The waiter is doing their job that they already don't get paid much for doing and the blacks who think it's their 30 minutes of catering to their stupid needs. I really think America needs to start cracking the whip-ha ha ha.

  2. I agree with you.  I worked in the services profession for many years and I dreaded working with blacks.  I have many friends from college that are black and we have had this conversation many times...they too agree with us.  It seems regardless of what the issue is, or what the problem is, our fault...their fault...nobody's fault, they all seem to think we (non-black) owe them something.  It has been my experience for many years that courtesy, honesty, politeness, and kindness is an alien characteristic of black people when dealing with people of other races; perhaps among themselves too!  Drive through a black neighborhood.  All the windows have bars and vicious dogs behind the fences.  Blacks have no respect or regard for each other, why should they for anyone else?

So?  Where does the change begin?  When blacks start taking responsibility for their actions as well as learn how to simply say, "please and thank you."

  3. I'm not aware of this problem but if your unhappy why don't you work somewhere else with different customers or even train for a different job altogether

however i do think it was brave of you to voice your opinion honestly

  4. I go to an eating establishment that has some of the best black servers ever.  In fact they are better then the "white" .  Maybe you should look at a different part of town or change your attitude.  Sometimes attitude makes the tip and obviously your attitude towards certain groups of people really  is not very good.  If your attitude was better, so would be your tips.

  5. I have dined with a few black couples and never noticed this behavior you describe.
