no one ever talks about who will be the next jerry west, or even who will be the next ai, so why ask who will be the next kobe bryant?

my guess is brandon woy will be a similar player later on with less flash.

There are alot of Kobe Bryant's in this league.

If you actually compare his stats to players like Carter there actually the same. The only reason why Kobe stands out is because he is a ball hog and scores 50+ in 4 straight games and won 3 straight championships with Shaq.

Nobody will. Nobody can be the next kobe except for kobe himself(if that makes any sense). now there are players that can come close to him in pure ability but not one person is like him. Now I'm not trying to back Kobe Bryant because believe me I am not a fan of Kobe, but on the other hand I still do realize he is one of the greatest players of all time. We can only guess what player will come near his ability in the future. I believe that guy is O.J. Mayo because of his raw ability to put the ball in the hoop, in any way possible. Also because of their similarities Kobe Bryant is of course more of a scorer but at the same time he gets his fair share of assists and boards, and I think Mayo will be the same. While they are different in size with Kobe being around 6'7 or 6"8 and O.J. Mayo being only about 6'5, but all in all I don't think that will be that big of a deal in the end. The main reason being, it's not about what the measurements say it's about how big you PLAY, and Mayo plays bigger than the height he is listed as. So I guess we'll see who is right and who is wrong in the future but as of right now, Kobe is Kobe.

lebron james because he has the same exciting dunks hes taller he scores more he rebounds more and passes more plus one more adition they will win three rings easy. lebron in my opinion has been better than kobe this entire season kobe just has a better supporting cast. if you put lebron in kobes situation they would have beat the celts in 5 games !!!!!!!
